Welcome

I started this blog for a pretty simple reason:

Writing things down forces me to understand them.

When an idea is only in my head, it is easy to think I understand it.

But once I try to explain it, things get harder.

I notice the parts I cannot explain properly. I notice the assumptions I made without realizing it. Sometimes I even realize that my original idea was wrong.

And honestly, I like that.

So this blog is partly a place to share things, but also a place where I can think.

Most of what I write will come from the things I am currently learning, building, or trying to understand.

That means you will probably find a mix of things here:

AI & intelligent systems Agents, LLMs, agentic workflows, memory, tools, architecture, and the practical problems that appear when you try to make these systems actually work.

Financial technology Risk modeling, credit, fraud prevention, valuation, quantitative methods, and the intersection between finance and technology.

Software & data Engineering decisions, system design, data work, experiments, tools I find useful, and probably some mistakes I made along the way.

Research notes Things I am reading, ideas from my M.Sc., experiments I am running, and questions I am still trying to figure out.

This won’t always be polished

I don’t want this to become a blog where every post has to look perfect.

Some posts will be proper long-form pieces.

Some will be short technical notes.

Some might just be me trying to make sense of something I have been thinking about for a few days.

And sometimes I will probably publish an idea that I am not completely sure about yet.

I actually think that is part of the point.

Writing something down does not mean I have figured it out.

Sometimes it just means I am trying to figure it out.

No strict schedule

I don’t want to force myself to publish every week just because a calendar says I should.

I’ll write when I have something interesting to say, something I have learned, or something I can’t stop thinking about.

Some weeks there might be several posts.

Sometimes there might be nothing for a while.

That’s okay.

I’d rather have something I genuinely wanted to write than publish something just to keep a streak alive.

Why publish it at all?

Because keeping everything in my notes folder doesn’t help anyone, including me.

Maybe something I struggled with will save someone else a few hours.

Maybe someone will point out that I got something wrong.

Maybe someone will have a completely different perspective.

Or maybe nobody reads it.

That’s also fine.

The main reason I’m writing is still the same:

I understand things better when I try to explain them.

So this is where I’m going to do that.
